2021 NAFIS Spring Conference

Registration is now closed.

The conference theme – United in a Changing World – is a nod to the current context. As the nation comes together after a divisive election and continues to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NAFIS Family will unite in our support for Impact Aid during this changing time. Together, we will educate a new Congress on Impact Aid and advocate for our shared goal: a strong Impact Aid program.

We continue to miss the gathering of the NAFIS Family in person – and we look forward to the day we can welcome you back to Washington, DC. However, given the evolving nature of the pandemic and the operating status of the DC area and congressional offices, the NAFIS Board unanimously decided to hold the 2021 NAFIS Spring Conference as a virtual event. A virtual conference allows us to advocate, learn and connect while ensuring the safety and well-being of our community.

The conference comes at a critical time, allowing attendees to engage in important advocacy work on our virtual Hill Day. We are also planning informative, thought-provoking and interactive sessions that will keep you up-to-date on Impact Aid, build your knowledge of other timely education policy topics and develop new connections among the NAFIS Family.

Programming will take place:
Monday, March 15: 1:00pm – 5:30pm ET
Tuesday, March 16: 1:00pm – 5:30pm ET
Wednesday, March 17: 9:00am – 4:00pm ET (reserved for individually scheduled congressional meetings); 4:30pm – 6:30pm ET (NAFIS programming)

While we may not be together in person, we will unite virtually to tell Capitol Hill the critical role that Impact Aid plays in school districts across the county.
